ER HNR KIT – FULL – now one complete package

After almost a year of testing and refinement, the EmbieRacing kit for HNR H9804 has reached its final form, and I’m really happy with it.

What’s new

  • New shortened aluminium lower chassis: fits standard 256 mm rally bodies and allows straight rear driveshafts. Like the stock chassis, it has a bent front edge that works as a built-in front nose. That’s why it’s aluminium, not carbon.
  • No more forward-facing rear suspension arms. The stock layout creates odd forces on the rear axle and makes the car hard to set up. That’s gone.
  • Redesigned suspension arms: now symmetric, so left and right are identical (only the steering knuckles differ).
  • Rear dampers mounted from the front for better weight distribution.
  • Carbon two-piece top deck and carbon shock towers for high stiffness, plus extreme steering angle and several setup improvements.

One kit, no compromises
Until now the parts were sold separately (steering, suspension and so on). Since I now know from experience that everything works together, it’s one product: ER HNR KIT – FULL.

Race proof
At the Czech National RC Rally Championship round in Humpolec, the car handled beautifully and took me to 7th place overall in a highly competitive field. At the latest round in Šumvald, I used the chance to try many other cars. Some were good, some even better, but my HNR with the latest kit was the one I liked most. Of course it was also set up exactly to my liking, but its behaviour was simply the best for me. Feedback from other drivers on my car was very positive too. In my experience the car now performs at the level of the best rally cars on the market, and in some respects it goes beyond them. I’d put this kit next to my XV01 kit and the Ralcon as one of my best products.

Good to know: longer front driveshafts are needed (I recommend YeahRacing XR-T4-027).

What I’d still improve: better dust protection, and a better-placed on/off switch (that one is more my electronics setup than a kit issue).
